Visual Artists
- DigitalCuts.com has added a new category of artist members. We have recently opened our doors to independent artists selling original artwork, photographs, paintings, and other forms of visual art. This is especially exciting because it gives the artists the ability to exhibit their artwork worldwide through the virtual art gallery. Our first artist is already on the site with more artists in the wings.
DigitalCuts.com Advertising and Promotion
– We’re well into our advertising campaign. There are a few things we want you to know in this regard. First, we contracted with an outside organization to analyze the web site and help up optimize it for search engines. Our keywords and phrases have been redone. Secondly, we’ve contracted with the same organization to help us get listed. We are now listed in over 600 search engines around the world. We have paid advertising in several search engines using a pay-for-ranking bid process. In fact, we’ve listed all of our members with paid rankings. We also have advertising of all our sale items on FreeTail.com (

The easiest way for you to promote yourself is to make sure you use the links we’ve provided you in your email signature line. Every time you send an email, you will remind people who you are and where they can find your music. Best of all, it doesn’t cost you a cent. With only 15 shopping days left till Christmas, make sure you take advantage of this tool and let everyone know where they can buy your music. Stats
– We are celebrating of sorts ourselves. We though you should know a few facts about the website. First, our traffic continues to increase. We’ve doubled the number of hits each month since we went live. We are also having our best quarter yet in that our sales have already topped the last quarter. Also, we’ve contracted with a website monitoring service and can report that in the several months, we had 100% up time! If the site should go down, we get an immediate notification. In simple terms, more opportunity for someone to come on the site and buy your music. Finally, a major milestone was reached in that our 100th member joined us.
