The Beattitudes are a Christian
rock band featuring all original songs.The band is located in Northern
California and has just finished their first album titled "Watch
and Pray". Both Christian and secular music lovers will enjoy
this bands sound. The Beattitudes work in a partnership as they
allow the Lord to lead them, for it is the Lord they give the Glory and
Honor and not to themselves. The vision of the band is to bring those who
are without the Lord to know him and for those who know the Lord to have a
better walk with him.

There are four members of the band:
Dan McKeighen is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. He has
written over 120 songs and has recorded and produced over 40 songs. Dan is
the former lead singer, principal songwriter and producer of the band
Dream Zone, and was considered one of Los Angeles top original bands .
Dan's song "Life is a Dream" was an award winner in The
Billboard songwriting competition in the early 90s.
Brent Nichols is the bass
guitarist and his fretless bass playing style is way cool and he
provides backup vocals for the band. He also is currently in the music
ministry at his church. Brent is the former bass player for the band
Tricycle and has preformed at Spirit West Coast and was featured in the
magazine Seven Ball .
Gregg Hill is a singer,
songwriter and guitarist. He is currently the director of the music
ministry at his church. His originality has been a real plus for the band
as they set out to record The Watch and Pray album, as he took on the job
of engineering the bands album.
Daniel "Dan-O-Mite"
Claiborne is the bands newly acquired drummer and is involved in the
music ministry at his church. He is a multi talented person who can sing
and play the guitar as well as drive the band with his timely playing. He
is known as the spark plug of the band.
