| In an ingenious effort to avoid standing in line to get
into nightclubs, Blue Period formed in 1996 as a way of getting on guest
lists everywhere.
With closets full of vinyl and glitter, this turned out to be an easy
accomplishment for the five San Francisco musicians. Ready for a more
challenging mission, the band vowed to bring a bit of drama and style back
into the dirty, ugly world of rock'n'roll.
