| The road beckoned for fifteen years, and John was there to
answer the call. Starting at the tender age of 4, first as a tap
dancer ("The Vest Pocket Edition of Eddie Cantor"), then at age
8 playing piano, John has been in show business for the majority of his
life.
High School and College found John with several bands (mostly his own) playing everything from Jazz to Dixie. After college, John decided to turn professional and began touring with national touring acts. It wasn't long before John became known for his musical knowledge and experience, which let to becoming bandleader, arranger, and conductor for several acts. The seventy's had only one star for John to reach for, Las Vegas -- and reach he did. After several engagements as arranger and conductor, he produced and stared in his own show in a main showroom in Vegas. John has been associated with the Liza Minelli band, Bojangles, opened for Blood, Sweat, and Tears, was bandleader for the Whiskey River Band, played ragtime piano and arranged for Banjo's Inc., and was arranger/conductor for Friends - and more! As a composer, John's love has always been orchestral music. Motion picture sound tracks allow John the flexibility to write and produce beautiful music using a full orchestra. Summer Dreams is just such an album. Cutting edge technology allowed the creation of orchestral music using samplers and synthesizers. Summer Dreams uses a Virtual Orchestra created on those instruments. |
