| Raised in a small mid-western town in Michigan,
of Macedonian decent, Angelo began playing guitar and singing when he was
nine years old. Surrounded by music all his life, to this self-taught
guitarist, music was second nature. The making of his first C.D., "Anonymous"
gave Angelo new visions of his music and the realization of what it takes
to be a full time musician. "You have to live it, love it and
breathe it." And he has done just that. The release of his
second C.D., "Renaissance Man," in May 1998, made it
obvious that this quick-witted, humorous, sometimes pensive Angelo is
never at a loss for words as he writes about life experiences and issues
of today.
His third C.D., "Michael Angelo Live/The Crossings of Mackinaw,"
released June 1999, captures his ability to perform a cover tune in a
style all his own. As heard on this live recording of Gordon .Lightfoot’s,
"The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," Bob Dylan’s, "All
Along the Watchtower," and Bruce Springsteen’s, "Blood
Brothers."
In December of 1999, Michael released his fourth CD, "Silly
Little Game." With seven originals and five cover tunes, Michael
Angelo’s acoustic guitar playing has the rhythm and fullness which makes
you feel like you are listening to more than just one guy. But the real
top off is the uniqueness of his voice, a voice that is clearly
identifiable. Add to this combination, his talent to write powerful
lyrics, saying things, using words like only he can use them, with a
passion that comes from within and you have a world class entertainer,
Michael Angelo
