"This CD represents Vic Cionetti's return to his music and to the recording studio. It's been over 10 years since his last recording. He's been missed, and we're glad to have him back! The music herein contains Vic's new compositions as well as those he previously released and just now newly recorded, remixed, and re-mastered for compact disc. Originally from upstate New York, Vic Cionetti has made Colorado his home and garnered a large and loyal following from his numerous night club and concert appearances, many of which were sold out events. He composed music for television specials for both the Denver Nuggetts and the Denver Broncos, and performed his original music at Boettcher Concert Hall as the featured guest artist/composer with the Denver Symphony Orchestra. That evening a capacity crowd of over 2500 people enthusiastically received his music and awarded him a standing ovation at the finale' of the dramatic composition entitled, "Mendoza". Additional performances showcased both his 6 and 14 member bands at the Breckenridge Jazz Festival, Winter Park Jazz Festival, and three appearances at the the annual Telluride Jazz Festival. Past accolades include "Best Songwriter", and "Best Record Album" by the Denver Post Readers Poll. Vic Cionetti is a composer with a unique approach to contemporary music, combining original melodies with high energy sophisticated musicianship. Performing mainly on the soprano saxophone, his distinct sound and style coupled with pulsating rhythms, appeals to music lovers of all ages. It is also important to note that Vic has been writing and performing his Latin Jazz, Brazilian tinged style of music long before it became an "in" thing to do. Enjoy!"
