It was the 21.9.1985, the day the church celebrates the conversion of the apostle Matthew, who was a tax-collector before.

I used to live a life far from God -although I had a strong desire for Him- tangled up in all kind of bondages of sin the world of today offers to a young teenager. I was literally saved by the Holy Spirit who entered my life so powerful and unexpected when I cried for help to this mysterious "God on the Cross" , invoking for the first time of my life the Holy name of Jesus in prayer.

Three years of intense fellowship with my Pentecostal (protestant-charismatic) brothers &sisters -through bible-study, prayer-meetings, street-evangelism & Sunday-services etc.-helped me to get to know Jesus and the Father more and more ,and to grow in my love for Him......discovering His great love for each one of us !

A highpoint of my life was the gift to be able to visit Israel two times in 1987, and being able to spend 5 months in the Holy Land. The richness that was transmitted to my heart by all the deep experiences that where given to me in this blessed time I'm not able to express just in a few lines !

I want to invite the readers at this point to make a pilgrimage themselves to the Holy Land in this blessed Year of Jubilee!

Finally -after a deeper crisis- the Lord led me to a little (Catholic) community where I finally became catholic!  Discovering this deep freedom we can find in the heart of Mary, the bride of the Holy Spirit, fascinated by the theology of the catholic faith in its wideness and depth , the rite of holy chrism did the rest to me :

I was overwhelmed by such a deep joy that I nearly "bursted"!!! The day my first lesson (to become catholic ) started was -by "chance"- the 21.9.1992, exactly 7 years after my first encounter with the Lord!

Long story - short sense: God is alive. He loves each living being so tenderly and strongly,......once experienced His "kiss", you'll long for Him always !

My profession is midwifery, but since over seven years I dedicate my life to prayer, missionary work and song.  Long periods in two contemplative communities, expanded visits to Medjugorje (and other Marian apparition-sites), and the working and living with the refugees of Bosnia impressed my life and music.
