Tina Marie –
is an inspirational folk music artist who shares here inspired original
songs. After working twenty years as a registered nurse, she stepped
out in faith to pursue a calling to use her gifts and talents
professionally. She is now caring for the heart by encouraging,
strengthening, and building up listeners faith through her music.
"Whenever I was inspired to write a new song it seemed to help and
comfort someone who was in need. I found I was making a difference
in people's lives by reaching out to those who needed the gentle touch of
the good news of Jesus, and this was exciting!"
Tina Marie was born 9/2/61 in Beeville, Texas.
She now resides in Terre Haute, Indiana with her husband and three
children. She is a member of the Catholic Associations of Musicians,
whose president is John Michael Talbot. She is an active parish
music minister at St. Patrick Church in Terre Haute; pastoral leader and
guitarist. Tina Marie has performed at Divine Mercy and Marian
conferences in Oakland, Tampa, and Vandalia. She has also ministered
in various states around the country. He debut album, "Touch
His Cross" has been well received.
In addition to performing at church concerts, schools,
coffee houses, and Christian conferences, she plays guitar during a
monthly Mass at the Rockville Correctional Facility. The sixth song
on her CD, "It's Okay To Cry" was written after a visit to the
woman's prison and has become a favorite of many of the women at the
correctional facility. "Many of the women told me they are
comforted knowing they can bring their sorrows to God."
